N.Y.C Cover sticks are one of those products I buy again and again because, honestly, you can't beat that kind of quality for the price. They're SO creamy and can be used as a primer as well as concealer. I'm not quite fond of the packaging, though. They come in these weird lipstick tube things that are awward to use, so I put mine into a little pot instead. The shades offered are all really light, though, so it isn't so great if you're more tan/dark.
Pros:Creamy, versatile Cons:No real shades offered for medium and darker skin tones.
I bought it just to give it a try, since I've been on a really long
journey finding the perfect foundation and concealer and I can say I
was VERY surprised! It worked wonders! =) To me it's perfect in shade
and in packaging, since I prefer concealer sticks rather than the
liquid-y ones. I bought it on a small pharmacy, it was 1.99, BUT they
had a coupon for $1 off any NYC purchase of $1.99 or over, so yeah, it
was just .99 cents!! (1.04 + tax ;D) Can't beat that price! =)
This was another cheapie product I would never have bought had there not been mega raves for it. It comes in this awful cheap looking lipstick tube, but it's exactly what you'd expect the packaging to look like for $1.99. It also doesn't twist all the way down into the tube, so until you wear it down, it's really easy to nick the side of the concealor on the cap. It IS a good concealor though! It's fairly creamy, blends easily, and is pigmented. It doesn't crease on me or settle in fine lines. It also doesn't cover these completely horrid dark circles of mine, but I'm yet to find anything that will. I use the shade Medium, which is misleading because it's really a light shade. I'd repurchase this again! :)
Pros:cheap, covers well Cons:ugly, awkward packaging, colors will be too light for women of medium skintones or darker
